Jordan Berry 43 years old, I have had all types of employment before from Nintendo of Canada to working with aboriginal youth I even went back to school in my late 30's to become a veterinary technician. Although I really enjoyed these previous jobs today God has blessed me with my forever job. It's hard to even call it a job when you love what you do and to say I have to work today isn't accurate. I get to help someone that has gone through a similar situation as myself today.  

I was hired September 1st 2023 and what I mean by hired is I joined the Luke 15 House family cause that's what it feels like. I went through the house as a client after my life unraveled and after being restored to sanity through the love of God I am able to help others.

When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it's not uncommon for their lives to unravel and I'm speaking through personal experiences. Today my great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic/stressful experiences. I help clients come to the light and truth in Jesus Christ and to find healthy perceptions of themselves and to strengthen their new found faith to become peaceful, complete, whole and safe.

I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I successfully completed Safe, Respectful, Quality Care: Implementing B.C's Supportive Recovery Standards through the Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions. I will continue to level up any chance I get and I will continue to give myself to Luke 15 House because that is what God has called me to do and to have faith that he will provide.
